The markets are perfect for finding great deals like flowers, vegetables, fruits, second-hand books, fashion and furniture. Visit over twenty markets in Amsterdam, but keep in mind most of them are closed on Sundays.

Albert Cuyp Market

Amsterdam’s most famous outdoor market celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2005. You’ll discover anything from fashion and fabrics to food and furniture.

Bazaar Beverwijk

The Bazaar is Europe’s biggest covered market. Explore a world of scent, taste, color and new experiences. In Beverwijk many different cultures come together every week. There are over 3000 stalls and shops spread over 5 halls. Whether you’re looking for antiques, curiosa, trendy fashion, books, shoes, new and used computers, car accessories, Eastern European crystals, exotic vegetables and fruits; the bazaar offers it all and has been the place where everyone will find something they love for over 25 years. The market itself hosts live music to liven up your shopping experience. The stall keepers and eateries create a wonderful atmosphere and if you’re looking for great food, the Bazaar is perfect. Some 65 restaurants offer anything from quintessentially Dutch food to extremely exclusive dishes.

Flower Market

This famous Dutch flower market offers a wide choice in flowers, plants and flower bulbs. The Flower Market, as it is called, was established in 1862. The market floats on the waters of one of Amsterdam’s oldest canals.

Dapper Market

The Dapper Market is home to over 200 stalls with everything a good market should have. You’ll find exotic food and local treats, household equipment, clothing and shoes. It also sells flowers and plants.

Ten Kate Market

The Ten Kate Market is a vibrant market with some 130 stalls. It sells various clothing fabrics, foods and clothes. The market extends into the other side of the Kinkerstraat.

Noorder Market

The Noorder Market is a flea market held on Mondays. It sells clothes, antiques, fabrics and curiosa. The same location hosts the Organic Noorder Market on Saturdays.

Waterloo Square

The famous flea market is situated right beside Amsterdam’s Town Hall and the music theater. Over 300 stalls make this the perfect market to hunt for new and used clothes, shoes, books, records, CDs, DVDs, curiosa and baubles. It is an energetic outdoor bazaar where you’ll always find something special.
